Our Strategic Priorities 2026–2030

OUR FUTURE

Five Priorities for Lasting Change

Becoming a registered NGO gave Destiny Shapers Global Foundation a chance to plan further ahead than any single term or fundraising cycle. Our 2026–2030 Strategic Plan sets five priorities, connecting our seven programmes today to the organisation we are building.

1. Quality Education and Holistic Child Development

Grow from a planning baseline of 250 to more than 1,000 learners by 2030, while lifting literacy and numeracy proficiency to 80%. A bigger library, a new computer lab and mentorship reaching 300 teenagers a year will support children beyond the classroom.

2. Organisational Capacity and Systems Strengthening

Build stronger foundations behind the scenes: an electronic school management system, ten core organisational policies, fully trained staff and active Board sub-committees, so growth is matched by good governance.

3. Financial Sustainability and Resource Mobilisation

Increase child sponsorship coverage from 9% to 80%, with 40% of operating costs coming from sources beyond donations by 2030. Ten institutional donor partnerships and a KES 10 million sustainability reserve will give the Foundation room to plan for the long term.

4. Infrastructure Development and Expansion

Deliver a permanent, five-floor campus on newly secured land in Korogocho, with 15 classrooms, vocational workshops, a community hall, a library and reliable water supply, replacing space that has been outgrown for years.

5. Community Empowerment and Partnerships

Train 500 parents in business, parenting, nutrition and financial literacy. Reach 150 fathers a year through men’s dialogue sessions and 200 children through sports and talent programmes by 2028. Formal partnerships and participation in NGO consortia will connect this work to the wider community support system.
