We started with 23 children who had no way into a classroom- orphans and children from families that could not afford school fees, many of whom were already past school-entry age. We provided them with a daily meal and taught them to read. Today, we support 258 learners from Daycare through Class 6, backed by a dedicated team of 17 staff members and volunteers.
In June 2026, we completed our transition to a Non-Governmental Organisation, formalising more than a decade of grassroots work under stronger governance and opening the door to new partnerships. Our name changed, but our mission and commitment to Korogocho remain the same.
Seven programmes, one goal: to give every child in Korogocho a fair start and equip their families with the tools to build on it.
Our model oscillates around early childhood development, primarily through the operation of a Center, which in turn facilitates community empowerment via the regular support of the parents in various thematic areas mainly education, health and socio-economic empowerment.

Our underlying mission is to ensure a solid foundation for the child with a replication of the character and habits, being practiced both in school and at home.
We believe in beginnings that matter. Through early childhood support and family empowerment, we’re planting seeds of education, health, and hope that grow into lifelong transformation.
